Price insights
- Dual-tube burner, Signet or Sovereign: $14 to $20
- Dual-tube burner, Baron or Crown: about $20
- Dual-tube burner, Regal or Imperial: about $22
- Flav-R-Wave heat plate: about $15
Broil King is one of the easiest brands to keep running on a budget. The grills are built in Canada by Onward Manufacturing, the design has stayed fairly consistent for years, and most of the wear parts cost less than a tank of propane. A full burner rebuild on a Baron or Signet often runs under $100 in parts. Where Broil King gets more expensive is the cooking grids, and that is still mild next to the luxury built-in brands.
The prices here come from Broil King, Home Depot, large online dealers and Amazon listings, checked in October 2026. Prices change through the season, so treat them as a guide.

What drives the price of a Broil King part
- The series. Broil King sells Porta-Chef and Royal at the bottom, Baron, Crown and Signet in the middle, and Regal, Imperial and Sovereign at the top. Bigger grills use longer burners and larger grids.
- The material. Cast iron grids are the cheaper option. Stainless rod grids cost more but hold up better if you do not keep cast iron seasoned.
- The year. Broil King has moved between flame tamers and Flav-R-Wave plates and has changed burner lengths over time. A Signet from 2008 and one from 2022 may not share parts.

Part by part breakdown
Burners
Broil King uses a stainless dual-tube burner, a tube inside a tube, that spreads flame evenly front to back. It is a good design, and it is cheap to replace. A Signet or Sovereign burner runs about $14 to $20. A Baron or Crown burner is about $20. A Regal or Imperial burner is about $22. On a four-burner grill, that is roughly $60 to $90 for a full set.
The carryover tube or collector box that passes flame from one burner to the next costs about $13 to $17. If one burner lights and the others need a match, check that part. Our grill burner cost guide compares Broil King burners with other brands.
Flav-R-Wave and flame tamers
Newer Broil King grills use stainless Flav-R-Wave plates over the burners. They run about $15 each. Older Signet and Sovereign grills use flame tamers at about $13 to $15. Both are wear parts. When they rust through, grease drips straight onto the burners and flare-ups get worse. See our heat plate and flame tamer guide for more.
Cooking grids
Broil King cast iron grids are heavy and they sear well. A single Regal grid runs about $35, and a pair for a Crown or Signet runs about $65 to $75. A stainless rod section for a Regal is about $50. Cast iron needs oiling and dry storage, or it will rust in a coastal yard. Our cooking grate price guide goes into materials.
Ignition
Broil King igniter parts are inexpensive. A spark generator replacement kit runs about $15 to $20, ignition modules about $13 to $15, the push button about $10, and electrodes only a few dollars. If the igniter clicks but does not light, the problem is usually a dead battery, a wet or cracked electrode, or an electrode that has shifted away from the burner. Our ignition parts guide walks through the checks.
Knobs, hoses and regulators
Lighted control knobs are about $4 to $5 and the bezels about $3. A 24 inch propane hose and regulator runs about $11 through Home Depot, and aftermarket versions run about $28. Broil King mostly sells valves as part of the manifold, and we did not find a reliable public price for those. A local pro or the factory parts line is the best source. Buy genuine for any valve, manifold or regulator. Our regulator and hose guide has more.
Rotisserie
Aftermarket heavy duty rotisserie kits sized for Broil King run about $80 to $86 with motor. A universal motor alone is about $31. See our rotisserie parts cost guide for more options.
OEM vs aftermarket
Broil King parts are already so cheap that aftermarket copies rarely save much. A genuine dual-tube burner at about $20 is hard to beat, and it fits. The main places aftermarket makes sense are rotisserie kits, universal regulators and covers. For burners, heat plates and grids, buy genuine. For anything that carries gas, always buy genuine.
Find your model and serial number first
Broil King grills have a rating label with the model and serial number. It is usually on the back of the grill body or on the cart, often inside the cabinet door. The model number is a long number, something like 922164, not just the name Baron or Signet. That number tells the parts counter which burner length and grid size you need.
DIY or hire a pro
Most Broil King repairs are owner friendly. Grids and Flav-R-Wave plates lift out, and burners come out after you remove a cotter pin or screw at the back. Igniter kits are simple swaps. Call a pro if you smell gas, if a valve is stiff or leaking, or if the burners light but the flame is yellow and lazy after cleaning. Labor cost depends on travel, how rusted the hardware is, and whether the part is on the truck.
Many grill repair technicians in our network are dealers or have dealer accounts, so they can usually bring the right Broil King part and fit it the same day. You can search for grill repair near you by ZIP code. A professional grill cleaning at the same time often fixes uneven heat on its own.
If the firebox or cart is rusted through, compare the parts list to the price of a new grill. Our repair or replace guide can help with that call.
