Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Pro Grill Find a Pro directory and the Pro Grill Verified Service Network, located at progrill.com/find (the "Site"). The Site is operated by [PRO GRILL LEGAL BUSINESS NAME] ("Pro Grill," "we," "us" or "our"). By using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. What the Site is

The Site is a directory that helps homeowners find independent companies that clean, repair and install grills, outdoor kitchens, fireplaces and fire pits. The Site also publishes guides, cost information and tools, and lets homeowners request parts through Pro Grill.

Unless a listing clearly says otherwise, the companies listed on the Site ("Listed Businesses") are independent businesses. They are not employees, agents or partners of Pro Grill. Each Listed Business sets its own prices, schedules its own work, performs its own services and is solely responsible for its work, its workers and its compliance with the law.

Pro Grill owns and operates some of the businesses listed on the Site. Those businesses must meet the same listing requirements as every other Listed Business.

2. Verification and its limits

Before a business receives the "Pro Grill Verified" badge, we review information it provides, which may include online reviews on platforms such as Google or Yelp, a certificate of liability insurance, applicable licenses, and the results of a knowledge test. We may re-check ratings and insurance over time and may pause listings that no longer meet our requirements.

Verification is based on information available to us at the time of review and on documents provided by the business. It is not a guarantee, warranty or endorsement of any business, its work, its pricing, its insurance coverage or its licensing status. We do not perform background checks on individual workers unless we say so specifically. You are responsible for choosing a business, confirming the scope and price of work in writing, and checking any license or insurance details that matter to you before work begins.

3. Paid and featured placements

Some Listed Businesses pay for a listing plan. "Featured" and "Priority Partner" placements are paid placements and are labeled on the Site. Payment does not buy a Verified badge, reviews, or a higher rating. Search results and city pages may be ordered using a combination of factors, including paid placement, distance, ratings, reviews and how complete a listing is.

4. Contacting Listed Businesses

When you call a Listed Business, send a call request, ask a question, or use a "get matched" or similar form, the information you submit is sent to the business or businesses involved so they can respond. Any agreement for services is made directly between you and the Listed Business. Pro Grill is not a party to that agreement and is not responsible for the quality, safety, timing, legality or outcome of any services, or for any payment dispute between you and a Listed Business.

5. Parts requests

If you use the parts request form, Pro Grill will try to identify and source the part you describe. A request is not an order. Price, availability, fitment and shipping are confirmed separately, and any purchase is governed by the terms of the Pro Grill parts store at the time of purchase.

6. Guides, cost information and tools

Guides, cost guides, troubleshooting articles, city guides and similar content on the Site are provided for general information only. Prices are approximate ranges based on listings we reviewed at the time and will vary by model, location and date. Troubleshooting information is not a substitute for a qualified professional. Gas appliances can be dangerous. If you smell gas, turn off the gas supply if it is safe to do so, avoid any flame or electrical switch, leave the area and contact your gas utility or 911. Do not attempt repairs to gas valves, gas lines or fireplace gas systems unless you are qualified to do so.

7. Automated and AI features

Some features of the Site use automated tools, including artificial intelligence, for example to write city guides, to interpret descriptions you type into search or request forms, to summarize requests for Listed Businesses, and to answer account questions through the "Hans" help assistant in the business dashboard. Automated output can be incomplete or wrong. Please review summaries and answers for accuracy and do not rely on them for safety, legal or financial decisions.

8. Reviews, questions and other content you submit

You may submit reviews, questions, answers, photos and other content ("User Content"). By submitting User Content, you confirm that it is truthful and based on your own experience, that you have the right to share it, and that it does not violate anyone's rights or any law. You grant Pro Grill a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, transferable license to host, display, reproduce, edit for length or formatting, translate, distribute and use your User Content in connection with the Site and Pro Grill's services.

We review reviews and questions for spam, fake accounts and abuse before or after they are posted. We do not remove honest reviews because they are negative. We may decline, edit for formatting, hide or remove User Content that we believe violates these Terms or is unlawful, misleading, abusive, off-topic, or posted by someone with a conflict of interest. Listed Businesses may reply publicly to reviews and answer questions. Questions you ask a Listed Business may be published on its listing with your first name once the business answers.

Reviews must not be written by, paid for, or offered incentives by the business being reviewed or its competitors, and must not be written in exchange for anything of value.

9. Rules for using the Site

You agree not to:

  • submit false, misleading or fraudulent information, reviews, requests or listings;
  • impersonate any person or business;
  • scrape, harvest or copy listings, contact details or content in bulk, or use the Site to build a competing directory;
  • use the Site to send spam or unsolicited marketing to Listed Businesses or homeowners;
  • interfere with the Site's security or operation, or attempt to access accounts or areas you are not authorized to access;
  • attempt to trick, manipulate or extract information from automated features, including the Hans assistant;
  • use the Site for any unlawful purpose.

10. Terms for Listed Businesses

If you list a business on the Site, these additional terms apply:

  • Eligibility. You must provide accurate information about your business, maintain a good reputation on Google, Yelp or a similar platform (currently at least five positive reviews, subject to change), carry general liability insurance and upload a current certificate, hold any license required for your work, and pass the Pro Grill knowledge test.
  • Keeping information current. You are responsible for keeping your listing, hours, service area, services, brands, photos and insurance information accurate and up to date. We may pause your listing automatically if your insurance certificate expires or if your listing no longer meets our requirements, and restore it once the issue is resolved.
  • Limited spots. We reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to limit how many businesses we accept in any area, category or service, to decline any application, and to place applications on a waiting list.
  • Plans and billing. Plan prices are shown on the Site. New Verified Listings may include a free trial (currently 30 days). After any free trial, paid plans renew automatically each month until canceled. Founding Priority Partner pricing applies to the number of founding spots stated on the Site and remains in effect while the plan stays active without interruption. You can cancel at any time and the cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Fees already paid are not refundable except where required by law. We may change plan prices with at least 30 days' notice, and the new price will apply at your next renewal after that notice.
  • Leads. Call requests, calls, website visits and questions are provided as received. We do not guarantee any number of leads, calls, jobs or results. Call tracking numbers, where offered, may record call details as described in our Privacy Policy.
  • Your content. You confirm that you own or have permission to use the photos, logos and text you upload, and you grant Pro Grill the license described in Section 8 for that content.
  • Conduct. You agree to treat homeowners honestly and professionally, to honor the prices and terms you agree to with customers, and not to post or solicit fake reviews. We may suspend or remove a listing for complaints, misconduct, misleading information or violations of these Terms.
  • Use of homeowner information. You may use homeowner contact information you receive through the Site only to respond to that homeowner's request. You may not sell it, share it, or add it to marketing lists without the homeowner's separate consent.
  • Indemnity. You agree to defend, indemnify and hold Pro Grill harmless from any claim arising from your services, your workers, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms or the law.

11. Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your password and account secure and for activity under your account. Let us know right away if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.

12. Intellectual property

The Site, including its design, text, guides, graphics, logos and software, is owned by Pro Grill or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. Brand names and trademarks of grill, fireplace and fire pit manufacturers mentioned on the Site belong to their owners and are used only to identify products. Their use does not imply any affiliation with or endorsement by those manufacturers. You may view and share links to the Site for personal, non-commercial use. Any other use requires our written permission.

If you believe content on the Site infringes your copyright, please send a notice to [LEGAL CONTACT EMAIL] that identifies the work, the content you believe infringes it and where it appears, your contact information, and a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized.

13. Third-party sites and services

The Site links to and uses third-party websites and services, including Listed Businesses' websites, Google, Yelp, maps and the Pro Grill parts store. We are not responsible for third-party sites, their content or their privacy practices.

14. Disclaimers

THE SITE AND ALL CONTENT AND SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SITE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE, OR THAT ANY LISTED BUSINESS WILL PERFORM AS DESCRIBED.

15. Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PRO GRILL AND ITS OWNERS, EMPLOYEES AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY PROPERTY DAMAGE, PERSONAL INJURY, LOST PROFITS OR LOST DATA, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SITE OR ANY SERVICES PROVIDED BY A LISTED BUSINESS. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATED TO THE SITE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100) OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE SITE IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM. SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN LIMITATIONS, SO SOME OF THESE LIMITS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

16. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Pro Grill harmless from any claims, losses and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising from your User Content, your use of the Site, or your violation of these Terms.

17. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Site will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Orange County, California, and you consent to their jurisdiction, except that either party may bring an individual claim in small claims court where it qualifies. Before filing a claim, you agree to contact us and try to resolve the dispute informally for at least 30 days.

18. Changes to the Site and these Terms

We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the Site at any time. We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the effective date above, and for material changes affecting Listed Businesses we will provide notice by email or in the business dashboard. Continuing to use the Site after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

19. General

If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce any part of these Terms is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, sale or reorganization. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and Pro Grill about the Site.
