Wolf is the cooking side of the Sub-Zero Group, and its outdoor grills are built to the same standard as its indoor ranges. You'll mostly see two generations: the older Wolf BBQ and BBQ2 series, and the current OG series (OG30, OG36, OG42 and OG54). OG grills plug into household power for hot surface ignition and lights, and they use trays of ceramic briquettes over U burners. Both of those design choices show up in the parts bill.

What Wolf grill parts cost in 2026
Most Wolf parts run about $35 to $470. Small aftermarket flash tubes and igniters are at the bottom. Grates, the transformer, the infrared sear burner and the rotisserie motor are at the top. That puts Wolf in the same tier as Viking parts and above DCS parts on most items.
Wolf has a smaller aftermarket than DCS or Viking, but it's growing. Aftermarket briquette trays, flash tubes, hot surface igniters and grates now exist for OG grills, often at half the factory price or less. Burners, valves, the transformer and wiring are still factory only.

Part-by-part breakdown
Burners
Factory OG U burners run about $250 to $254 each, depending on which U-Style the grill uses. The OG infrared sear burner runs about $470. On older BBQ and BBQ2 grills, an aftermarket straight tube burner is about $71. Wolf burners last a long time if they're kept clean. Most "bad burner" calls are really clogged ports or a failed igniter. Our grill burner cost guide has more.
Ignition and flash tubes
OG grills use hot surface igniters instead of spark electrodes. A factory main burner igniter is about $80, and aftermarket versions run about $50 to $55. The rotisserie igniter is about $185. Each burner also has a flash tube that carries flame across it. Factory flash tubes run about $126 for the U burner and $157 for the infrared burner. Aftermarket versions run about $36 to $79.
If no burners light at all, the problem is often upstream, at the power supply, switch or transformer, not the igniters. Check that the grill has power and that the GFCI outlet hasn't tripped before buying parts. See what ignition parts cost.
Transformer, wiring and lights
This is where Wolf repairs can surprise people. The grill transformer runs about $430. Wire harnesses run about $289 to $380, and the power switch with LED about $235. These failures need diagnosis with a meter, and guessing gets expensive. The lamp assembly is about $115, but if only the bulb is out, Wolf uses a standard 10 watt, 12 volt G4 halogen bulb you can find at many hardware stores. Our grill light repair guide covers bulbs and lamp housings.
Valves
A factory OG natural gas main burner valve with microswitch runs about $114. The microswitch tells the ignition system when a knob is turned on. Valves are a gas safety part, so buy the factory valve for your model and fuel type and have the connections leak tested. More in our valve price guide.
Briquette trays and grates
OG grills use stainless trays filled with ceramic briquettes. Factory tray assemblies run about $178 to $299 depending on width. Aftermarket trays, some sold with briquettes, run about $86 to $233. If the tray is sound and only briquettes are broken, a 6-count of factory briquettes is about $60. See our briquette tray guide.
Wolf OG hex cooking grates run about $400 to $440 per section from the factory, and aftermarket sections about $209 to $220. OG36 grates are a different width from OG30, OG42 and OG54 grates. Older BBQ series grates run about $220 to $292. Our cooking grate price guide compares options.
Rotisserie
The factory rotisserie motor runs about $394. Before replacing it, check that the outlet works and the spit isn't binding. See rotisserie part prices.
OEM vs aftermarket for Wolf
Aftermarket briquette trays, grates, flash tubes and hot surface igniters are reasonable choices on an out-of-warranty Wolf and can cut the bill in half. Stick with factory parts for burners, valves, the transformer and wiring. Electrical parts in particular need to match Wolf's specs exactly.
How to find your Wolf model and serial number
On Wolf OG outdoor grills, the serial tag is above the drip tray, behind the logo. Pull the drip tray out to see it. On older Wolf BBQ models, the tag is on the back side of the rear hood top. Wolf grill modules have the tag on the bottom of the control panel, on the right side. Wolf carts don't have serial numbers. Photograph the whole tag before you order.
DIY or hire a pro
Grates, briquettes, trays and bulbs are easy homeowner jobs. Hot surface igniters and flash tubes are moderate. Transformer, harness and switch problems need electrical testing, and valve work needs a leak test after. Labor depends on access under the grill, how the island was built, and whether the tech has the part on hand.
Most service companies in our network are dealers or have dealer accounts, so they can usually get the correct Wolf part and install it on the same visit. Find a grill technician near you or browse grill repair services. Grease-packed briquette trays also cause flare-ups and uneven heat, so a deep grill cleaning is worth booking along with any repair.

Frequently asked questions
Why won't any burners light on my Wolf OG grill?
OG grills need household power for ignition. Check the outlet, GFCI and power switch first. If those are fine, the transformer (about $430) or wiring may be the cause, and that needs testing with a meter.
How much is a Wolf grill burner?
A factory OG U burner was about $250 to $254 in 2026, and the infrared sear burner about $470. Aftermarket straight burners for older BBQ series grills ran about $71.
What light bulb does a Wolf outdoor grill use?
Wolf OG interior lights use a 10 watt, 12 volt G4 halogen bulb. Handle it with a paper towel, since skin oil shortens bulb life.
Where is the serial number on a Wolf grill?
On OG grills it's above the drip tray behind the logo, so pull the drip tray out. On older BBQ models it's on the back side of the rear hood top.
Are aftermarket Wolf parts any good?
Aftermarket briquette trays, grates, flash tubes and igniters work well when sized correctly and cost about half as much. Use factory parts for burners, valves and electrical parts.
